Which single asset class are you most bullish (or bearish) about in the coming year? What ETF position would you choose to best capture that?

I firmly believe that Ben Bernanke and I share a common viewpoint. We both have no idea what he's going to do four months from now. There's simply too much uncertainty. We don't know what's going to happen with the multitude of economic indicators and whether they'll spell success or failure for his policies.

So let's back up and look elsewhere for certainties. I think I've found some bullish news for commodity investments. Why? As of this writing, there seems to be little chance that President Obama and his colleagues in the Senate and Congress will extend the Bush Administration's tax cuts.

After outperforming the stock market over the past few years, is silver still worth buying? There are plenty of reasons to consider silver ETFs.

According to Kevin Grewal of Minyanville, although gold continues to grab more headlines, silver may be the more appealing investment. For one, silver has many more industrial uses than gold- currently, 55% of silver is used for such purposes. For example, silver is used in plasma display panels, food storage containers, solar panels and antiseptic applications.
